FCS Faculty and Staff Click on the names below to send email to staff members. Mrs. Kim Anthony is currently in her 9th year at FCS. She graduated from Bob Jones University in 1991. She is married and has 4 children. She currently teaches Kindergarten. Her favorite Bible verse is Phil. 3:13-14. Mrs. Tammy Brown is currently in her 2nd year at FCS. She taught previously as a substitute for four years. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 1995 with a B.S. in Education (Biology and General Services). She is married with 2 children. Tammy is currently teaching 3rd Grade. Her favorite Bible Verse is James 1:19. Mrs. Gail Butler is currently in her 8th year at FCS. She graduated from Clark State Community College in 1991 with an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Commercial Art Technology. She teaches 1st - 6th grade Art, 7th - 12th grade Art Club and is the advisor for the BCSA Fine Arts Competition. Her favorite Bible passage is Proverbs 3:5-6. Mrs. Lynn Garren has 21 years teaching experience. She graduated from Bob Jones University in 1985 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She is in her 15th year at FCS and currently teaches Jr. High Math, Science and History; 11th/12th American Government, Yearbook and is the Girls basketball coach. She is married and has two children. Lynn's favorite Bible verse is Micah 6:8. Mrs. Heather Goddard is currently in her 4th year at FCS as the Elementary Music Teacher. She also teaches HS tone chimes, HS Choir, piano lessons, cheerleading coach and is the director of music for the BCSA competition. Heather's favorite Bible passage is Proverbs 3:5-6. Mrs. Joyce Hook has 11 years teaching experience. She received her A.C.E. Kindergarten Certificate in 1984. She is currently in her 10th year at FCS as the Preschool Teacher. She has three children. Joyce's favorite passage in scripture is Proverbs 3: 5-6. Mr. David Kephart has 1 year of teaching experience. He graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2007with a B.S. in History/English education. Shelly Larson is currently in her 6th year as a volunteer at FCS. She currently helps in the art program and is a substitute. She graduated from Bob Jones University in 1985 with a BA. She is married with four children, one of which is a graduate of FCS. Shelly's favorite verse of scripture is Jer. 29:11. Mrs. Sheila Matthews has been involved in education for 13 years. She is currently in her 7th year at FCS as the Preschool Teachers' Aide. She is married and has two children. Her favorite Bible passage is Romans 3:23-25. Mrs. Sharon Miller is the Librarian. She graduated from the University of Illinois in 1993 with a BA in Business Administration. She is married and has two children. Sharon’s favorite passage of scripture is I Corinthians 13:47. Mrs. Julie Reese has 4 years of teaching experience. She graduated from Liberty University in 1988 with a B.S. in Psychology and is currently working on a Masters in Elementary Education from Pensacola Christian College. Julie currently teaches 5th grade and has four children. Her favorite verse is Matthew 5:16. Mrs. Patty Rice has been at FCS for 5 years. She currently serves as the Tuesday/Thursday preschool teacher as well as a teachers aide for the Kindergarten class. She is married and has one daughter and a grandson. Her favorite Bible passage is John 14:1-4. Mrs. Edna Rosado is currently in her 11th year at FCS. She graduated from Catholic University (Ponce, Puerto Rico) with a Nursing Degree. She currently is the facilitator for LINC classes. She is married and has three children. Edna's favorite passage of Scripture is Psalm 23. Mrs. Patti Sheeter is currently in her 2nd year at FCS. Her previous experience includes 4 years teaching in Greenville S.C., 7 years as the Assistant Director at the Wilmington Child Care and 5 years teaching at the day care and substitute teaching with Wilmington Schools. She is married with four children. Patty's favorite passages include: Jer. 29:11 and Phil. 4:6-7,13. Mr. Izaac VanderSchel has 11 years teaching experience. He graduated from Bob Jones University in 1996 with a B.S. in Math Education. He is in his 10th year at FCS and currently teaches Sr. High Math, Health, Speech/Drama, World History, Earth Science and P.E.. He also is the Boys' Soccer Coach as well as the Schools' Athletic Director and ACHS Director. He is married and has three children. Izaac's favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 26:3. Mrs. Kim VanderSchel has 9 years teaching experience here at FCS. She graduated from Bob Jones University in 1998 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Kim currently teaches 5th/6th grade.
